Writing Workshops
Grant writing calls for one part sleuth (to uncover the funder's priorities and giving history), one part data-geek (to translate industry research and evaluation data), one part artist (a.k.a. writer), and two parts storyteller to weave all that information into a compelling narrative. I am available to help you or your team learn how to craft winning proposals. Workshops can be tailored to meet your needs and include review of potential funders or draft grant proposals.
Storytelling & Content Development
A compelling story can move stakeholders to action. For more than a decade, I've been working with nonprofits to create content that inspires loyal philanthropic support. Storytelling can happen over any medium, from social media to proposals to web content to feature-length articles to oral presentations. I am available to capture the stories or coach your team and your board on the art of storytelling to raise funds for your mission.
Public Speaking/
Facilitation
As a long-time member of Toastmasters, I'm no stranger to public speaking. I've consulted and coached boards, executive staff, departments, organizations, and large cross-sector groups—helping them accomplish the goals of a meeting or strategy. I'm happy to bring the agenda or help you facilitate your own. I welcome an opportunity to serve as your keynote speaker, facilitate listening sessions, moderate panels, or navigate difficult and controversial topics.
